Ono Hawaiian says 'aloha' to Hemet, California

September 8, 2017

Ono Hawaiian BBQ continues its Southern California expansion with an opening in the city of Hemet. The chain's 65th location, which opens Friday at 2461 West Florida Ave., will give guests a buy one, get one free offer for all food items during business hours.

"We are looking forward to introducing the Hemet community to the Ono Hawaiian BBQ concept, and watching them fall in love with our food," CEO Joshua Liang said in a press release. "We're expecting the grand opening to kick off what will be a successful location — one that the locals of Hemet will come to enjoy and cherish in their neighborhood."

Ono Hawaiian BBQ's core menu features Hawaiian-inspired plate lunches and island specialties like Hawaiian BBQ Chicken, Spam Musubi, Chicken Katsu and more through a fusion of Japanese, Korean, Chinese and American flavors. The interior design incorporates an inviting yet industrial chic feel inspired by Hawaii's rustic elements including reclaimed wood walls, rope lighting, aqua tiles and tropical planters, according to the release.
