Ono Hawaiian opening 98th unit

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is opening its 98th unit Monday in Gilbert, Arizona, marking the brand's second location in Maricopa County. The free-standing, drive-thru location is Ono's ninth in Arizona and will open for take-out and drive-thru service only, according to a company press release.

The Gilbert opening is one of 11 locations set to open this year in California and Arizona.

Founded in 2002, Ono Hawaiian BBQ aims to combine the culture and "Aloha" spirit of Hawaii into its restaurants.
