Ono Hawaiian BBQ has opened its second restaurant in Bakersfield, California, this time in the Rosedale Village complex near the California State University of Bakersfield.
It marks the brand's 77th location (units split between Arizona and California), according to a press release, and will be celebrated Dec. 20 with a grand opening luau during which 50 $100 gift cards will be given away.
"Ono Hawaiian BBQ has received such an overwhelming amount of 'aloha' with our first location in East Bakersfield," said Joshua Liang, CEO of Ono Hawaiian BBQ, said in the release. "We enjoy being a part of this amazing community and cannot wait to serve our made-to-order Hawaiian fare to more 'ohana' in the new West Bakersfield restaurant."
