On the Move: Pieology opens three units this week

Pieology and Menchie's both had a big week, with multiple new restaurant openings.

It's a big week forPieology, which announced the openings of three new locations:

• At 2280 Mendocino Avenue at Mendocino Marketplace in Santa Rosa, California. Dan Abfalter is the franchisee.
• At 5776 Lindero Canyon Road in Westlake Village, California. David Wu is the franchisee.
• At 9915 West McDowell Road, Suite 107 in Avondale, Arizona. Kris Olson is the franchisee.

Menchie's also opened two new units on Feb. 7.:

• At 5857 Spout Springs Rd., Suite 305, Flowery Branch, Georgia. The franchisee is Mehul Patel.
• At 2300 Elida Rd., Suite 2, Lima, Ohio. Clara Weitz is the franchisee.

Amsterdam Falafelshop will open its second Boston area shop and seventh unit overall in mid February at 642 Beacon Street in Boston. Local entrepreneurs and business partners Matt D'Alessio and Laurence Wintersteen own and will operate the new shop.

Ono Hawaiian BBQ opened a new location at 2457 Naglee Road in Tracy, California on Feb. 5. This Northern California branch marks the 48th store for Ono Hawaiian BBQ.

Dickey's Barbecue Pitopened at 5200 East Ramon Road in Palm Springs, California on Feb. 12. The franchisee is Rodney Harper.

Villa Enterprises Management, announced they have opened their newest Villa Italian Kitchen and Bananas Smoothies & Frozen Yogurt restaurants in the Upper Level dining area at Fashion Show Mall at 3200 Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza plans to open its first Texas location in Frisco sometime in May in The Centre at Preston Ridge (8400 Gaylord Parkway).

Great Wraps Grill, is seeking franchisees for two mall locations in New Jersey. The units are located in Cherry Hill Mall and Bridgewater Commons Mall.
