On the Move: Dickey's, Juice It Up! and others strengthen footprints

The theme this week for new fast casual locations: strengthening footprints.

Five fast casual brands strengthened their footprints in markets and states where they already have a toehold. Here's the rundown:

Wild Wing Cafe will open its newest location at 4788 Ashford Dunwoody Road in Dunwoody, Georgia on Feb. 20. The new restaurant will be the first of four new locations for Bipin Changela and Tiku Shroff, who plan to open additional Georgia units in McDonough, Kennesaw and Marietta. The Dunwoody restaurant will be the chain's 12th location in the state.

Juice It Up! has opened its third location in Ontario, California at 1150 E. Philadelphia St., Suite 107. The location is owned by franchisees Adela and Jose Quezada. It's their second location.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit added its fourth location in the Lincoln, Nebraska market on Feb. 17. The new restaurant is located at 8222 Holdrege Street and is under the ownership of franchisee Will Carter, who owns the three other Dickey's Barbecue Pits in Lincoln.

Dickey's will also open a new unit on Feb. 19 at 2576 West Sunset Avenue, Suite E in Springdale, Arkansas. Matt and Neikedra Womack are the franchisees.

La Madeleine Country French Café will open at 11610 Old Georgetown Road in Rockville, Maryland on Feb. 19.

Uncle Maddio's Pizza Jointis adding to its South Carolina footprint with the opening of a new location at 1795 North Highway 17 in the Town Center Plaza in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Franchisees David Moulton and Bruce Moulton plan to open a second unit in North Charleston later this year, and a third Charleston-area unit at a later date.

Multi-unit deals, new markets

Chronic Tacos has signed a number of multi-unit deals which will take the brand into Colorado, Arizona and Washington. The first Arizona unit is set to open this spring at 3121 W Peoria Ave, Suite 104 in Phoenix, Arizona. Erin McKinley and Brad Hagen are the franchisees.

Sam Haddock, Bob Harris and Will Robinson have signed a 10-unit deal to bring Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill to Florida. The restauranteurs plan to open locations in Gainesville, Sarasota and Tampa.

International

CaliBurger announced it will open three new locations in Taiwan. Franchisee Tony Chao plans to open his first unit in the first half of 2015 in Taipei, with two more to follow.
