Olo partners with EatStreet to fuel delivery for restaurants

March 19, 2018

Olo, an online food ordering solution for the restaurant industry, has teamed up with EatStreet to enable integrated delivery through Olo's Rails platform.

EatStreet, an independent online and mobile food ordering service in the U.S., serves 250 markets and connects consumers to more than 15,000 restaurants. The partnership will provide consumers and restaurant partners with a more convenient, streamlined food delivery experience for smaller markets across the country, according to a company press release.

EatStreet has integrated into Olo's application programming interface called Rails, which enables restaurants to efficiently receive, process and execute delivery orders through delivery service providers. Rails eliminates the need for extensive and disparate delivery management in individual restaurant locations by allowing restaurant operators to list menu items on third-party marketplaces, ultimately reaching more consumers, according to the release.

Additionally, orders placed on EatStreet are integrated into the restaurant's POS and other existing systems through Olo Rails, decreasing time spent on logistics and increasing order accuracy through a seamless experience, Noah Glass, co-founder and CEO of Olo, said in the release.

"EatStreet was a clear choice to partner with given their extensive reach and mastery of delivery logistics," he said. "Their vast network covers more than 250 cities across the U.S. in underserved markets, providing our restaurant clients with much broader coverage for delivery in many key markets. Coverage is a big part of the discussion for brands and this partnership with EatStreet helps to address that in a centralized way for our restaurant clients."
