Ohio State dining facility has new view

Visual Graphic Systems (VGS), together with Digital View, recently installed digital signage in several dining facilities atOhioStateUniversity's main campus inColumbus. The 20-inch LCD screens, which presently display a revolving series of campus images and information, will eventually incorporate daily menu specials, news feeds and even local sports highlights.
"We've been working withOhioStatefor several years and they were intrigued by the next-generation digital signage on display at the National Restaurant Show last spring," said Karen Hellriegel, manager, national accounts with VGS. "We collaborated closely with Digital View to come up with digital signage solutions that would meet OSU's needs, while giving them the control they wanted, a modular design and an integrated platform on which to build in the future."
