Travel, food and entertainment site, Thrillist, is opening what it said is a first-of-its-kind "rotational " ghost kitchen with ghost kitchen operator, Zuul. The virtual kitchen effort will offer exclusive delivered food from some of the Big Apple's best chefs and restaurants, a news release said.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights, From Dec. 9 through April 16, a group of 10 restaurants in the area will sequentially lead two-week chef residencies offering limited-edition specialty meals for delivery. All costs, including food, labor, packaging and delivery will be covered by Thrillist, while each delivery will also include a local artist-designed custom T-shirt inspired by the restaurant along with an insulated branded reusable bag, cutlery set and wine tumbler.

Participating restaurants include Rao's, Chinese Tuxedo, Sylvia's, Caracas Arepa Bar and Milu and this effort is meant to lend support and promotion to these brands in a pandemic-era world that has all but shut down the previously much-loved activity of eating out, according to the release.
