NRA promotes Flanagan to VP

The National Restaurant Association announced the promotion of Brendan Flanagan to vice president of federal relations. Flanagan previously served as NRA's director of legislative affairs.
"Brendan is a great asset to the association and will be an essential partof a strong public policy team as he assumes his new role," said StevenAnderson, NRA's president and chief executive officer. "He has been instrumental in many legislative victories forthe restaurant industry, including advancement of Association Health Plans(AHPs), banning frivolous obesity-related lawsuits and immigration reform.With a strong voice in Washington, the National Restaurant Associationcontinually works to benefit the restaurant industry'spro-employee/pro-employer public policy agenda."
