Not even a fire can stop Cowboy Chicken

August 30, 2019

Less than two months after a kitchen fire that temporarily shuttered it, Cowboy Chicken — 5315 Greenville Ave. —  in Dallas, is back in business. The quick turnaround was due to the fast repsonse from firefighters of Dallas Fire Station 55, CEO Sean Kennedy said in a company press release. He and his team hosted a reopening celebration Saturday at the store and dontated $500 to the station.

"We wanted to thank Station 55's first responders for quickly containing our fire and for what they do for our city and residents every single day," Kennedy said.

Founded in Dallas in 1981, Cowboy Chicken serves real wood-fired rotisserie chicken and has been on a growth spurt since Kennedy took over in 2003
