Noodles & Co. making NY debut

Noodles & Company will open its first New York restaurant at the end of the month in Westbury, Long Island. Owned and operated by Doherty Enterprises Inc., operators of more than 100 restaurants in northern and central New Jersey, Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island, Noodles & Company will open at The Gallery at Westbury Plaza, 996 Old Country Road, Garden City, N.Y.

"We are pleased to announce the opening of the first Noodles and Company location in New York," said Ed Choe, president of Doherty Enterprises. "Every dish is customizable to please even the pickiest eaters with numerous choices combined at the guest's request. We look forward to serving the people of Westbury, Long Island, and the surrounding areas."

Doherty Enterprises plans to open more than 20 Noodles & Company locations throughout Long Island. The company is hiring about 60 local team members to staff its new location at The Gallery at Westbury Plaza and plans on adding hundreds of new jobs to the Long Island area in the coming years.
