Noodles & Co. expands in Iowa

Noodles & Company is opening its first restaurant in Ames, Iowa on Sept. 21 at 10:30 a.m. The new restaurant will be located on Duff Avenue in front of the Target shopping center.

Noodles & Company's menu features Asian, Mediterranean and American cuisine, including the sweet and spicy Japanese Pan Noodles, creamy Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, and the fresh Med Sandwich.

"We're excited to open our first restaurant in Ames," said Kevin Reddy, CEO and chairman of Noodles & Company. "We believe we'll become a popular spot for families and college students because of our menu variety, speed and affordability. Each dish is made to order for each guest and is served in just a few minutes for around seven dollars."

There are currently two Noodles & Company locations in Iowa, in Davenport and Coralville, with plans to open in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids later this year.

The new Ames location will be open Sunday through Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Carry-out, phone-in, fax-in, and online orders are available.
