Newk's to continue growth in 2025

Founded in Jackson, Mississippi, Newk's Eatery, which has nearly 100 locations in 12 states, closed out 2024 on a positive note despite a challenging sales environment. Achievements included:

• Signed a franchise development deal for three locations in Georgia and South Carolina.
• Introduced self-service kiosks in select locations to improve efficiency.
• Launched menu items including wraps.
• Increased delivery sales through partnerships with third-party delivery platforms.
• Raised over $250,000 for ovarian cancer research through their Newk's Cares initiative.

"We've seen a big increase in the number of leads coming in, but it takes some time between getting those leads and getting them to turn in," Frank Paci, CEO of Newk's Eatery, said in a company press release. "We've got some renewed excitement with our existing franchisees, which is another positive indicator for new growth."

Newk's Eatery plans to open four locations in 2025 and focus on franchise development, operational efficiencies and menu innovation.
