Newk's introducing 1st Indiana unit

Newk's Eatery is opening its first Indiana location Monday in Greenwood, a news release said. 
 
"Newk's brings a fresh take on fast casual dining that emphasizes authentic, flavorful ingredients and dishes prepared in-house the same way we'd make them at home," Newk's co-founder and CEO Chris Newcomb, said in a company press release. "We look forward to serving the Greenwood community and introducing Newk's to the state of Indiana."
 
The 4,875-square-foot Greenwood restaurant, at 1279 N. Emerson Ave., Suite A-1, will offer indoor dining for 145 guests and patio seating for 45 more. The restaurant also features a Grab-N-Go cooler section filled with its sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts and beverages
