Newk's Eatery has introduced an expanded calorie-conscious menu focused on indulgent flavors from family recipes, according to a company press release.
"When our guests dine with us, we want them to feel like their healthy choices are neither a sacrifice in flavor nor satisfaction," said Alan Wright, Newk's CMO. "By making our 600-calorie menu options available year-round, Newk's guests can maintain their healthy eating habits 365 days a year."
He said the gourmet-inspired menu features dozens of portion-appropriate, hearty soups like the new hoppin’ john which consists of black-eyed peas, country ham, white rice, tomatoes and collard greens that pair well with fresh tossed salads and savory toasted sandwiches.
Throughout the year, Newk's will also make special limited time additions to the 600-calorie menu, Wright said.
