Devon Avenue, Chicago is the home of eclectic international restaurants, including authentic Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine, but it didn't boast the American staple — the burger.
Mohammad Adnan and the Surman Group identified that need and collaborated to create F3 Grill, a fast casual serving American burgers with additional menu options targeted at the average Muslim consumer, according to a press release.
"The demographics dictated the concept be carefully researched and evaluated based on the established community and the religious environment," Bob Surman, of the Surman Group, said in the release. "Our comprehensive approach spurs innovation while dramatically reducing risk and delivering success for our clients and their projects."
F3 offers burgers and other meals containing curry, mango and raita as well as cheddar cheese and barbecue, providing a unique take on a classic American meal.
