New Dickey's franchisee to open in Virginia

Dickey's Barbecue Pit said it will open in Loudoun County, Virginia, this coming fall, under ownership of first-time franchisee, Chris Mills, according to a company news release.

The former real estate and property management professional had a strong yearning to get into the restaurant industry and found Dickey's to be a great match with his goals. 

"When researching franchising opportunities, Dickey's ended up being the perfect fit for me," Mills said in a news release. "I have a passion for barbecue and I love having the opportunity to bring people together and Dickey's is the perfect place to do that."

Dickey's is the nation's largest barbecue chain with more than 570 locations in 43 states. It is also winner of this year's Fast Casual's "Top 100 Movers and Shakers."
