Fast Fresh Brands, the parent company of Nature's Table, signed two agreements to open 10 franchise locations in Florida.
The deals will expand the health-focused cafe brand in its home state, with units planned for the Orlando and Tampa areas. The agreements were signed with existing Nature's Table franchisees.
Maati Mazri, a Tampa-area franchisee, said the decision to sign a multi-unit deal was easy.
"We see a strong appetite for fresh, healthy dining options in Tampa, and we're excited to bring that experience to more guests," Mazri said in a company press release.
The expansion comes after three consecutive months of same-store sales growth for the chain, which has recently focused on new marketing and menu innovation.
Cody Pepper, CEO of Fast Fresh Brands, said the performance shows the company's investment in marketing and new menu items is working.
"These two MUDAs (multi-unit development agreements) demonstrate both the demand from consumers and the confidence from our existing franchisees," Pepper said in the release.
Founded in 1977, Nature's Table specializes in smoothies, wraps, salads and other healthy options. The company operates in a mix of traditional and non-traditional venues, including airports, hospitals and universities.
