Event organizers of the National Restaurant Association Show are cancelling the 2021 National Restaurant Association Show, which was scheduled May 22-25 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the state of Illinois has placed an order in effect until early June limiting gatherings to no more than 50 people. While this order could be modified prior to expiration, McCormick Place has indicated its ability to re-open for large events is currently prohibited, according to a company press release.

Event organizers of the National Restaurant Association Show said a variety of recorded content focused on the state of the industry and future projections, consumer trends, operational innovations and more is available online.
