The Nashville City Paper: The Nashville, Tenn., Metro Health Department has released a survey revealing that a vast majority of Nashville residents favor the board of health's proposal that would force chain restaurants to show calorie information on their menus.
According to an automated phone survey of 400 residents, 78 percent said they favored the proposal. The labeling requirement would restaurants with at least 15 locations nationally to list the calorie total for its menu items.
