Napa Technology intros WineStation

July 8, 2007

NAPA, Calif.Copia, The American Center for Food, Wine and The Arts, debuted Napa Technology's WineStation Intelligent Dispensing Systems June 22.

WineStation is the world's first automated measured dispensing and preservation solution, combining business intelligence, style, ease of installation and use, into a family of commercial appliances. Its patent pending Clean-Pour hygienic dispensing technology allows WineStation to deliver first-time taste, every time, for up to 60 days, even when bottles preserved by WineStation are out of the unit.

WineStation simplicity and low maintenance is specifically designed to let restaurant, hotel and concession operators increase revenues, control costs and maximize profits in serving wines by the glass.

"At Copia the ten WineStation showcase units are more than just about wine dispensing and preservation, they're allowing us to create a presentation stage to let our guests serve and experience some of the great wines of the world," said Peter Marks, Copia's senior director of Wine and Food. "And with the WineStation debit smart card, our guests now have the option of purchasing and serving themselves a taste, half or full glass for their enjoyment pleasure."

WineStation's modular and expandable unit design is ideal for customers who want to create a wine showcase that can feature as few as four and up to hundreds of bottles of wine. WineStation is immediately available for delivery and "out of the box" installation.
