Naf Naf Grill opening first Minneapolis location

The fast casual Middle Eastern style concept will open outside Chicago for the first time in company history.

July 30, 2015

Originally founded as a run-down shack in the Chicago suburbs, Naf Naf Grill, a concept serving Middle Eastern fare, is expanding for the first time outside Illinois. The newest location is a 3,100-square-foot facility operated by two Naf Naf general managers and located in Minneapolis, according to a press release.

"We took a tour of Minneapolis and fell in love with it," Naf Naf Grill Co-CEO David Sloan said in the announcement. "We got a great vibe from the people and the atmosphere and it just felt right. Our goal is to help people explore different food and define Middle Eastern cuisine for the great residents of the Twin Cities."

The restaurant will open tomorrow at the U.S. Bank Plaza at 200 South 6th St. Another Naf Naf Grill location is under construction in Eden Prairie and a third will open in the fall at Maple Grove, according to the release.
