Muscle Maker Grill has partnered with Inergetics, a developer of nutritional supplements, to launch a high- performance, private-label protein shake to be served in all 70 Muscle Maker Grill franchises, according to a company press release.
The shake carries the Muscle Maker Grill "42" moniker and comes in three flavors — Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry.
Under the agreement, Inergetics will supply an estimated 600,000 shakes to Muscle Maker Grill franchises over the next 12 months. Inergetics also worked in partnership with Muscle Maker Grill to develop a custom product design as well as an online ordering system for its franchisees.
"We are delighted to have successfully launched our partnership with Muscle Maker Grill, one of the nation's fastest growing restaurant franchises dedicated to healthy eating. Our teams have worked together to develop a best-in-class protein shake worthy of Muscle Maker Grill's fitness and health driven customers," said Inergetics CEO Mike James. "We are excited to expand our relationship and accelerate this growth opportunity by introducing new Muscle Maker Grill-branded products in the near future as well."
Sales of Muscle Maker Grill "42" will be supported by in-store point of purchase displays and signage to ensure trial.
"The team at Inergetics worked closely with us to ensure that the taste, quality and nutritional value of our '42' shakes will not only meet, but exceed the standards our customers have come to expect from us. We are thrilled to bring such an ideal new product to Muscle Maker Grill's menu of healthy eating options," said Rod Silva, founder of Muscle Maker.
