Muscle Maker Grill flexes across Arkansas

October 10, 2012

Muscle Maker Grill, a chain of eateries that prepares food with health in mind, is opening its first Arkansas restaurant Oct. 18 in Bentonville. The Bentonville location is part of a multiunit deal to develop 10 Muscle Maker Grill restaurants in Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas, the first of which opened in Tulsa in July. The restaurant will be located in the heart of the Bentonville business district, home to the Wal-Mart corporate headquarters.

"We are very excited to bring our healthy choices to the Bentonville community and surrounding area," Rod Silva, founder of Muscle Maker Grill, said in a company press release. "The location of the restaurant is ideal for the many nearby corporate offices, as it will offer a convenient lunch and catering option that offers great-tasting food that is also good for you."

Area developer and 35-year restaurant industry veteran, Donald Potvin, will run the Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas operations.

"The Muscle Maker Grill concept really caught my attention. I fell in love with the food," said Potvin. "Muscle Maker Grill takes traditional favorites and creates healthier versions, making it easy to maintain a healthy lifestyle without feeling like you are depriving yourself of the foods you love. I have lost 35 pounds incorporating Muscle Maker Grill into my daily dining routine."
