Mountain Mike's franchisee opens 2 stores in 1 week

A longtime Mountain Mike's Pizza franchisee and developer agent has opened two stores in Riverside County, California in a single week. Robby Basati opened restaurants in Temecula and Jurupa Valley, which he adds to 16 other California stores, making him the brand's largest multi-unit franchisee, according to a press release.

Basati has been at the helm of expanding the brand's footprint in Southern California's Inland Empire, opening nine restaurants throughout San Bernardino and Riverside counties in recent years, with two more Mountain Mike's locations slated to open there this year.

"Opening two new restaurants, in the same county, in the same week, was no small feat but we could not be prouder to have our doors now open in both Temecula and Jurupa Valley," Basati said in the release. "The past year has brought many trials, but it has also given us the ability to continue building momentum towards what we feel will be incredibly successful year for the brand."

The Temecula location is on Winchester Road, while in Jurupa Valley, the store is located on Pats Ranch Road. Mountain Mike's is based in Palo Alto, California and has more than 200 stores in four Western states.
