MOOYAH Burgers, Fries and Shakes has announced its expansion from Dallas and Houston to the central part of Texas.
Through a development agreement with Cathy Amato and Martha Jordan, 49 locations are expected to open throughout Central Texas. The first store opened November 1 in Killeen and Waco is scheduled to open early 2011, with Austin and San Antonio soon to follow.
The expansion is part of an aggressive growth strategy developed by the brand, which has 14 locations open and three additional locations anticipated to open before the end of 2010. In 2011, the company plans to open its first out-of-state locations in Tennessee, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
"We aren't just growing to grow," said Rich Hicks, MOOYAH co-founder. "These new agreements represent strategic partnerships with passionate people who have solid track records and are enthusiastic about joining us in the better burger business."
