Mongolian Concepts appoints CFO

Mongolian Concepts, which owns Genghis Grill, FlatTop Grill and bd's Mongolian Grill, has hired Neil Quinn as chief financial officer. Quinn previously held the title at Mazzetta Company, one of the largest importers and producers of frozen seafood. He also brings more than two decades of executive experience with McDonald's Corporation, according to a company press release.

"Neil's experience is invaluable; with his background and more than two decades of experience in the restaurant and finance industry, he is uniquely qualified for his new role as chief financial officer," CEO Gregg Majewski said in the release. "This position is well deserved, and we look forward to all Neil accomplishes with each of our restaurants."

Mongolian Concepts franchises over 75 locations.

"The brands housed by Mongolian Concepts are in the perfect position for growth," Quinn said in the release. "The opportunity to join this championship team presented itself at a time where restaurants are making a comeback, and I'm eager to be part of the rebound. My goal is not only to grow the rates of business for each individual brand but to also expand the organization as a whole.

"The steps that the brands have already taken towards opportunistic and smart expansion will play well into the role I plan to take with the group."
