Moe's wants a few slices of Cheesehead territory

Moe's Southwest Grill is looking for multi-unit franchisees with an interest in Wisconsin, the brand's next expansion territory, according to a news release. Particular interest revolves around the areas of Au Claire, Green Bay, Lacrosse, Madison, Milwaukee and Wausau. 

"With multiple locations in neighboring states, Wisconsin represents an important part of Moe's growth strategy and we're excited about the brand's expansion into the region," said Moe's Vice President of Franchise Sales Peter Ortiz. 

"The Moe's brand has become a top choice for some of the most successful multi-unit franchise owners in the country, so we're excited to watch the brand grow here due in large part to the talent of our franchisees."

In Wisconsin, Moe's already has sites in Green Bay and Pewaukee, and recently signed a three-store deal with franchisee Sunny Shah in Milwaukee. Elsewhere, Moe's had 186 new restaurant openings in 2015 and now operates more than 650 franchised U.S. locations.
