Mod signs deal for 30 stores in 7 years

MOD Super Fast Pizza Holdings LLC has added its 10th franchise partner, DBMC Restaurants, which will develop 30 stores over the next seven years. Its area of development includes central Alabama, southern Louisiana, southern and central Mississippi, as well as Nashville, Tennessee, a news release said. The first opening for the group is expected next year in Louisiana.

DBMC Restaurants also owns and operates two Southern U.S. full-service steakhouse brands, the Santa Fe Cattle Company and Cody's Original Roadhouse restaurants. The company is also the largest franchisee of casual brand, Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux.

MOD has more than 490 stores in the U.S. and Canada and is based in Seattle.
