MOD Pizza to expand Kansas footprint

MOD Pizza will open in Lenexa, Kansas, on Dec. 14. The unit is owned and operated by MOD franchisee Paceline Partners, who own 13 other MOD Pizza locations in Kansas City, Indiana and Ohio, according to a report in the Kansas City Business Journal.

"We put a lot of time and thought into designing a welcoming gathering spot where friends and family can come together and enjoy MOD's incredible pizza and salads," Tad Long, director of operations for Paceline Partners, said in the release. "We're looking forward to meeting the community on Dec. 14."

The Lenexa unit brings the Kansas City area's sixth MOD Pizza. The brand has more than 540 pizzerias across 29 U.S. states.
