Mod expands in Colorado, Wyoming

Mod Super Fast Pizza Holdings Llc. plans a significant expansion in the U.S. Rocky Mountains region, through the growth of a development agreement with Best Pizza Llc., the brand's exclusive Colorado franchisee. The deal allows Best Pizza's to grow its locations from 25 to 45 in the area and adds southern Wyoming to their territory, a news release said. 

Best Pizza's operators are Bob Merullo, Kevin Embree and Scott Schooler, who opened their first MOD in the Denver area in 2014, with 16 current Colorado locations. The new locations are slated to open over the next seven years. 

"As our largest franchisee, they continue to develop high performing stores, consistently deliver a great experience to customers, and are making positive impacts in each of their local communities," Mod CEO Scott Svenson said in the release.  

The brand now has more than 460 locations.
