The fresh flavors of Hawaii, the 50th state, are coming to Draper Friday when the 50th Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food restaurant opens at 163 E. 13800 S. Guests will find the restaurant in the middle of the Harmons Grocery-Bangerter Crossing shopping center, taking over the previous tenant's space, Taco Time.
"Bringing fresh-from-the-islands food from the 50th state to our 50th location is so exciting," co-founder Kimo Mack said in a company press release. "We're thrilled to bring the authentic Hawaiian dining experience to Draper, along with a big serving of aloha spirit!"
Operated by private equity Savory Fund, Mo' Bettahs was founded in 2008 in Utah in 2008 by Kimo and Kalani Mack. Savory Fund is invested in 10 brands: Swig, R&R BBQ, Pincho, Via 313 Pizzeria, Houston TX Hot Chicken, Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food, 86 Repairs, Saigon Hustle, Hash Kitchen and The Sicilian Butcher.
