Mici Italian to expand Arizona footprint

Denver-based Mici Italian will open its second location in Arizona this winter in Queen Creek, Arizona, according to a press release.

The location will be the fourth franchise location for the family-run brand. Mici Italian previously opened a location in Gilbert, Arizona, earlier this year. The Queen Creek restaurant will be run by franchisee Lucas Farnham.

"With Queen Creek's family-friendly suburbs and parks, it really is the prime location for our next Mici restaurant opening," Farnham said in the press release. "We are excited to bring the Miceli family's generations-old Italian recipes to the Queen Creek community and to continue to get to know our Phoenix customers."

The brand plans to give away free pizza for a year to the first 50 people in line at 11 a.m. on opening day. It will also hold a toy drive for HopeKids, with toy drive participants receive one free 10-inch pizza coupon.
