Miami Grill targeting GCC, China for growth

Miami Grill is partnering with Global Franchise Exchange to develop the brand in GCC and China markets, according to a company press release.

The chain, operating primarily in South Florida, has domestic and international expansion plans underway with restaurants open or under construction in Central and North Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Malaysia, Panama, Myanmar and Ecuador. Recently, a new area developer committed to five new locations in Lahore, Robert Haar, Miami Grill's VP of franchise development, said in the release.

"Our growth depends upon our continued alignment with franchise partners that provide extensive operations experience, deep global perspective and connections," he said.

Miami Grill was developed by the same owners as Miami Subs, Miami Subs Capital Partners 1. Its key equity partner is Armando Christian "Pitbull" Perez.
