Miami Grill partners with UberEats

October 3, 2017

Miami Grill, based in South Florida, has partnered with UberEats to offer delivery in all of its stores. The program, which was tested in select markets, is now available system-wide, Steven Klass, Miami Grill's EVP, said in a company press release.

"UberEats is providing our guests with the convenience of delivery and our franchisees with an incremental revenue stream,” he said. "The initial objective was to create new guests of Miami Grill and build the frequency of dining with existing guests. The results during an extensive multi-restaurant test far exceeded the expectations with every measurable metric, prompting the decision to roll out UberEats to the entire system."

COO Jonathan Vogel said the technology can only help improve food delivery as a whole.

"We are always looking for new and innovative ways for guests to enjoy the great Miami Grill food," he said in the release. "From the convenience of delivery, mobile ordering, chef-inspired catering, our new and renovated restaurants, and rebranding, we have repositioned Miami Grill to be the leader in the fast casual segment for many years to come. Technology is a large part of our future strategy in providing convenience and alternative choices for all of our guests."

Miami Grill has a domestic and international expansion plan underway with restaurants open or under construction in central and northern Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Malaysia, Panama, Myanmar and Ecuador. Additionally, a new area developer committed to five new locations in the Punjab Province of Pakistan starting in Lahore.
