Jersey Mike's is adding a new menu board focused exclusively on its chicken offerings.

Shifting customer purchase patterns have prompted Jersey Mike's to add a new Chicken Bacon Ranch Cheese Steak sub and add a new menu board featuring its chicken offerings.
The move comes after two years of testing in two of the brand's New York City restaurants.
"During a two year timeframe, we found that calling out chicken on its own menu board led to us selling three times as much chicken than before," said Hoyt Jones, president of Jersey Mike's. "We always try to bring our customers what they crave and they are craving chicken."
Jones attributes the interest to customers looking for healthy options.
