The Register-Herald (Beckley, W.Va.): The West Virginia Senate voted 19-14 against menu labeling legislation Monday. However, one of the bill's chief backers, Senate Health and Human Resources chairman Roman Prezioso, said he will work to have the bill called for reconsideration and a second vote.

The Restaurant Association of Maryland, which actively opposed the measure, praised Niemann's decision, calling the bill "misguided."
