Menchie’s plans grand openings in Texas, Washington

Menchie’s opened its newest store over the weekend at Alamo Ranch located at 5619 W. Loop 1604 N., San Antonio. To celebrate, the location is hosting giveaways and activities all week.

The Alamo Ranch location is franchised by Kassie Fitzgerald.

To kick off the grand opening week, Menchie’s Alamo Ranch is partnering with the Northside Education Foundation to give back to the schools in the area. The store will be donating 10 percent of all grand opening week sales to the foundation.

Menchie’s has also opened a new location at The Landing at Hawks Prairie, 1110 Galaxy Dr.,NE, Lacey, Washington.

This location will host a grand opening celebration from Nov. 8 to Nov. 14 and is franchised by Lynnette Truxal.

Menchie’s The Landing at Hawks Prairie is supporting is partnering with Homeless Backpacks, an organization dedicated to ending youth homelessness in the area. Menchie’s is asking its customers to donate requested items such as tuna, granola bars and instant oatmeal in order to feed the homeless youth.
