Menchie's celebrates 400-unit milestone

Menchie's has opened its 400th location in Kitsilano, Vancouver, British Columbia.

According to a news release, the self-serve yogurt brand will continue its growth with a pipeline of more than 500 units currently in development. By the end of the year, 120 additional locations are slated to open aside from the 30 locations that have already opened thus far in 2014.

"Opening our 400th store is a momentous milestone, and we are excited to share this occasion with our valued guests and franchisees," CEO Amit Kleinberger said in the release. "Our growth is a testament to our talented global team and passionate franchisees. Growth is not an objective, but rather a result of doing the right thing, at the right time, to the right person."
