Menchie's adds California unit

The froyo chain will celebrate the opening with a week of giveaways and activities.

Menchie's, announced the opening of its newest store in Westchester Village at 8815 S. Sepulveda Blvd. in Westchester, California.

Menchie's will mark the occasion with a grand opening celebration Dec. 13-19. The celebration will feature merchandise and product giveaways and family-friendly activities. Menchie's Westchester Village is also partnering with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital during its grand opening and will be donating 10 percent of the entire week's sales to the organization.

"After owning our first Menchie's store in Culver City and loving the brand personality and environment, we decided to open our second Menchie's in Westchester," said franchisee Erica Acker in a company press release. "Menchie's is truly a heart-centered brand with a strong focus on community involvement and family-friendly fun, so we know residents in the area will love what we have to offer."
