Melt Shop has opened its latest corporate owned restaurant in New Jersey, this time in Menlo Park Mall in Edison.
The store, located at 55 Parsonage Road, marks the brand's first in the city and third in the state, according to a press release. The store will hold a grand opening party 11 a.m. to 3 p.m on Saturday, April 27, featuring free sandwiches to the first 50 guests, raffle giveaways and a DJ.
"We're thrilled to expand the Melt Shop brand in my home state of New Jersey," said Spencer Rubin, founder and CEO of Melt Shop, in the release. "We're already experiencing success in Jersey City and Rockaway, and look forward to seeing our Menlo Park restaurant thrive as we continue our growth throughout the state."
The Edison restaurant features the company's updated storefront design and kitchen package, and will have its latest menu innovations, including housemade chicken tenders and a vegan burger melt, according to the release.
Melt Shop opened its ninth New York City location earlier this year and has an agreement with Skyport Hospitality to expand into airports, including New York's JFK and Pittsburgh International Airport.
