Meatheads plans entry into the Hoosier State

May 22, 2014

Meatheads will open its first Indiana location, in Munster, on June 2, marking the brand’s 14th location overall.  According to a news release, members of the Munster Chamber of Commerce will help celebrate the opening with a ribbon cutting June 2 at 10 a.m., with proceeds from the pre-opening weekend supporting the Munster Little League, Munster Girls Softball and Muster Parks & Recreation.

“We selected Munster, Indiana, as our first out-of-Illinois location because we felt the community was a fit for our style of family restaurant,” CEO Tom Jednorowicz said in the release. “We’re looking to expand in Indiana later this summer as well with an opening in Schererville. Indiana residents in this area often drive to the Chicagoland area, so now we’re able to provide our restaurant experience in their hometown.”
