McAlister's opening in Abilene, Texas

McAlister's Deli is opening Monday in Abilene, Texas, at 3318 South Clack Street. To celebrate the opening and introduce McAlister's to the local community, the restaurant will partner to raise funds for the West Texas Rehabilitation Center in Abilene, said McAlister's Deli Franchisee Larry Lee.

"McAlister's Deli is pleased to become a part of the Abilene community," he said. "We look forward to introducing delicious food and McAlister's genuine hospitality to local residents, while also giving back to the community through our partnership with the West Texas Rehabilitation Center."

As part of the fundraising partnership, McAlister's in Abilene will kick off its Helping Hands Campaign in November, where guests will receive a $2 McAlister's gift card to redeem on their next visit for every $2 donation made to the rehab center. In addition, the restaurant and employees will donate all tips for the first 30 days of operation. The restaurant aims to raise $6,000 for the center.
