McAlister's is looking north

July 11, 2016

McAlister's Deli is hoping to partner with multi-unit franchise owners as it expands into Upstate New York, according to a press release.

"With our recent openings in the Buffalo and Rochester markets, Upstate New York represents an important part of McAlister's growth strategy and we're excited about the brand's continued expansion into the region," Jeff Sturgis, McAlister's Vice President of Franchise Development, said in the report. "The McAlister's Deli brand has become a top choice for some of the most successful multi-unit franchise owners in the country, so we're excited to watch the brand grow in these areas due in large part to the talent of our franchisees."

McAlister's said it was actively looking in and around Syracuse, Albany, Binghamton and Utica. Currently, McAlister's has two locations in the area — Niagara Falls and Henrietta, both of which were opened less than eight months ago.
