McAlister's going big with new sandwich, catering options

Offerings focus on bold flavors, larger portions.

McAlister's Deli announced the addition of its New Orleans Muffuletta to its "Big Bold" menu and also announced a new Big Bold Catering Box option.

"Our 'Big Bold' sandwiches have been incredibly popular among guests. By adding the Muffuletta to the lineup and offering a catering option, we are giving guests more of what they already love," said McAlister's Chief Marketing Officer Donna Josephson in a company press release. "We are confident these new menu items will satisfy guests' cravings for bold flavors and larger portions at any time of day, whether it's lunch, dinner or as a convenient addition to fall gatherings."

The New Orleans Muffuletta features Gambino's muffuletta bread, Black Forest ham, salami, olive salad and provolone.

The Big Bold Collection Box features 24 sandwiches served on a variety of white and multigrain baguettes. Each Big Bold Collection Box serves 12-16 guests and comes with assorted chips. Sandwiches include:
