McAlister's Deli delivers 13th straight quarter of growth

McAlister's Deli has announced a same-store sales increase of 4.9 percent during the third quarter of 2013. In addition, year-to-date, same-store sales are at 5.4 percent. This marks the 13th straight quarter of positive sales growth, according to a company press release. Comp sales were driven primarily by an increase in entrée sales, due to system-wide traffic gains, said McAlister's President and CEO Frank Paci.

"We are pleased to deliver another strong sales performance in the third quarter," he said. "Our franchisees continue to provide our guests with great food served with genuine hospitality creating a loyal customer base and strong brand."

McAlister's will open 15 restaurants this year and has signed new development agreements for an additional 45 locations.
