McAlister's coming to Carbondale, Ill

McAlister's Deli will open its first Carbondale, Ill., location at 1382 E. Main St. To celebrate, the restaurant will host a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26.

"We're excited to bring McAlister's genuine hospitality to Carbondale," said McAlister's franchisee Donnie Harris. "From outstanding service to our high-quality food and McAlister's Famous Sweet Tea, we're committed to providing guests with an exceptional dining experience that will keep them coming back for more."

The Carbondale McAlister's will also offer drive-thru service.
