Philippines-based Max's Chicken posted a 15-percent increase in sales revenue for the first half of 2013 compared to last year, according to the Business Mirror. The chain's Corporate Marketing Director Edgar Allan L. Caper said that number put the chain 12 percent over its growth target for the year.
He also said that the fast casual chicken chain has shown strength across all segments, but that dine-in comprises 65 percent to 70 percent of the business, while other functions and events make up 15 to 20 percent. The rest of sales come from takeout and delivery and also Max's Corner Bakery, which opened two years ago.
Max's has 135 units throughout the Philippines.
