Maui Wowi Hawaiian doubles franchising discount for veterans

Maui Wowi Hawaiian is doubling its discount to prospective franchisees with military experience. The Veterans Day special is available now through Dec. 31 and provides a 20-percent discount off its franchise fee for qualifying military veterans.

“This discount is our small way of saying ‘mahalo’ (thank you) to the men and women who are serving or have served our country and preserved our freedom,” CEO Mike Weinberger said in a news release.

Ten percent of Maui Wowi Hawaiian’s franchise system is made up of military veterans. The company offers a year-round discount of 10-percent off the franchise fee for military veterans.
