Maui Wowi doubles discount for veteran franchisees

November 7, 2013

Maui Wowi Hawaiian is continuing its efforts to support veterans by bringing back its "double discount" off the franchise fee during the months of November and December, according to a company press release.

With supporting military veterans as a focal point, Maui Wowi Hawaiian already offers a 10 percent- year-round discount off the franchise fee for those who have served in any branch of the military. In honor of Veterans Day, that military giveback program is doubled to a 20-percent discount now through Dec. 31, said said Mike Weinberger, CEO of Maui Wowi Hawaiian.

"We are proud to have so many veteran franchisees representing the Maui Wowi Hawaiian brand," he said. "Our double discount offers military veterans the opportunity to make their dreams a reality. This small gesture and significant savings is our way to say mahalo for their service and to make the dream of business ownership more attainable. We look forward to helping more veterans find entrepreneurial success by welcoming them into our Maui Wowi 'ohana (family)."

Maui Wowi Hawaiian is a member of the IFA Vet Fran Program, SBA's Small Business Development Program, and has been named a Military Friendly Franchise by G.I. Jobs for the past four years. The chain was also among the 50 Top Franchises for Veterans by World Franchising Network published in USA Today in June 2013.
